大学の紹介
1890年創立。オクラホマ州立の大規模研究型総合大学で、オクラホマ大学システムの本校。オクラホマが合衆国の州になる前に開校した高等教育機関で、創立当初から共学であった。オクラホマシティから約32キロの大学町ノーマンに約3000エーカーのキャンパスを構える。分校がオクラホマシティとタルサにある。大学は15部門（スクール、カレッジ）から成り、学部レベルで150以上、修士課程も150以上、博士課程は75の専攻がある。法学や医学などのプロフェッショナルプログラムも20以上提供している。
