1955年創立。ハワイ州オアフ島にあるモルモン教系の私立共学校で、ユタ州にあるモルモン教系の３大学と姉妹関係にある。モルモン教の教えに基づき、キャンパス内では禁酒・禁煙はもちろんのこと、ドラッグ、コーヒー、紅茶なども禁じられている。服装や髪形に関する規則もあり、カジュアルすぎる服装やボディピアス、あごひげも禁止。学生の平均年齢は25歳と高く、在学生の25％が既婚者。
