1916年創立。カトリック系のリベラルアーツ・カレッジ。規模はそれほど大きくないが、学生層は多様。キャンパスはカンザスシティ市内にあって、娯楽等、勉強の息抜きの機会は豊富にある。36の専攻を提供し、人気の専攻分野は初等教育学、看護学、Radiological scienceなど。小規模大学ながら、ビジネス、教育学、心理学の分野で修士課程プログラムも提供している。在学中に積極的にインターンシップ、地域のボランティア活動をすることが奨められている。
