大学の紹介
1909年創立。アーカンソー州ジョーンズボロにある、州で2番目に大きな州立大学。キャンパスがある地域は農業地帯で、当初は農科学校として設立され、のちに四年制の総合大学となった。地域密着型の大学で、州民であれば入りやすい。看護学が1番人気で、州の看護師が数多くこの大学を巣立っている。教育学や農学、ビジネスも人気が高い。スポーツの強豪校で、試合はとても盛り上がる。キャンパスは緑が多く、のどかな環境。ジョーンズボロはプロテスタントの住民が多く、70以上の教会をもつ「教会の街」としても知られる。ミズーリ州やテネシー州との州境にも近く、テネシー州のメンフィスには車で１時間ほど。
