Description
The University of the Arts is the United States’ first and only university devoted solely to the visual, performing, and communication arts. Its history as a leader in educating creative individuals spans more than 130 years. The campus provides a dynamic, creative atmosphere for learning and is located in the heart of Philadelphia’s professional arts community, spanning the Avenue of the Arts. The area has world-class museums (notably the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Barnes Museum), galleries, music and dance facilities, superb restaurants, and retail stores. The campus is approximately 2 hours from New York City and about 2 1/2 hours from Washington, D.C.
